In March 2016, PDP was selected to write the Design Guidelines for the City of Exeter, NH. The preparation of these Guidelines will highlight the unique architectural character of Exeter and assist property owners, the Historic District Commission [HDC] and the City in managing changes to the built environment over time. Exeter was founded in 1638 and was the capital of New Hampshire for 14 years in the late eighteenth century. The updated Guidelines encourages the preservation of historic structures within the context of ongoing economic development and new construction.
