OVERVIEW
The town of Riverhead is the County Seat of Suffolk County, New York, located at the fork of Long Island. In 2008, PDP was selected by the Landmarks Preservation Commission to prepare Design Guidelines addressing both the central business district as well as the surrounding residential area. The primary concern of the Commission, successfully addressed by the Guidelines, was to facilitate compatible new construction within historic areas.
