Village of Oak Park (IL) - Design guidelines
OVERVIEW
In 2011, following a national search, PDP was selected to prepare Design Guidelines for the Village of Oak Park, Illinois. A suburb of Chicago, Oak Park is renowned for its collection of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings and its award-winning focus on preservation planning and sustainability. The previous guidelines, completed in 1999, did not appropriately address some of the needs of the village. PDP's Design Guidelines, which are be available to property owners in both electronic and printed form, were completed in 2013.
